Network Expert (+ESL optional)

The Network Expert program is a mid-level training course, we cover the CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCITP Server Administrator, Linux+ and CCNA. The program is designed for students who want to work in the IT technology area and not limit themselves to one local area but also take on the Enterprise world.
Students can achieve multiple MCTS certificates and the prestigious certification from Cisco, CCNA.
The students can gain expertise to demonstrate a wide range real-world scenarios and develop the mastery in managing the network infrastructure.

Learning Contents

ESL class will review reading, listening, speaking and writing skills including pronunciation, vocabulary building and conversational activities using grammar contextually. Student will be given a level test before starting to determin the current level.

Students are taught to identify potential hazards and implement proper safety procedures including ESD (Electro Static Discharge), precautions and procedures, safe work environment and equipment handling. While studying the networking part of A+ they will identify tools, software utilities, diagnostic procedures and use troubleshooting techniques for successfully solving a network problem. They are taught to use job related professional behavior including notation of privacy, confidentiality and respect for the customer and customers’ property which is one of the important section which CompTIA A+ exam tests the students. Last but not the least, for the CompTIA A+, the students are always given hands on training, where a computer is given to them to take it apart in a careful manner and later on to assemble it, putting it back in the same condition it was given to them.

The Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure course: covers concepts and skills related to installation, configuring and managing the Server network infrastructure. It emphasizes on configuring IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, infrastructure support, administration, requirements and operational settings. It covers managing routing and remote access services, managing DHCP and DNS, configuring wireless access, network authentication and network access protection (NAP).

The Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator course:
covers concepts and skills related to planning, configuring and managing Windows Server 2008 servers, maintaining Active Directory roles, planning security, business continuity and monitoring windows for high availability, monitoring and maintaining file and print servers, configuring network policies and services and RADIUS servers.

TS: Microsoft Windows Vista Client Configuration

The Windows Vista client configuration course: covers concepts and skills related to Automating Windows Vista installation using Windows Deployment Services (WDS). Configuring users and groups.
Configuring Disks: Basic and Dynamic. Managing and optimizing Windows Vista. Configuring and optimizing network connectivity and troubleshooting.
It also covers simple to complex topics related to Configuring Desktop settings like windows Aero and multi-language support, Vista applications and configuring the Vista environment.

Install and configure Linux OS and install device drivers for other peripheral devices. Partition according to pre installation plan using fdisk. Configure file systems (ext2 / ext3). Configure a boot manager ( LILO / GRUB)
Install and manage packages after installing the Operating System.
Mount and unmount different file systems ( SAMBA / NFS). Configure X Windows system. Apply permissions to files and folders.Identify different Linux Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Implement IP tables/chains. Identify and configure mass storage devices and RAID.

Configure IP addresses, subnet mask on routers and hosts. Configure routing protocols. Perform initial configuration on a switch and configure swiches with VLAN.
Implement and troubleshoot Access Lists on routers. Perform VLAN and routing protocol troubleshooting. Perform WAN troubleshooting. Describe STP. Evaluate TCP/IP communication and its associated protocols. Evaluate rules of packet control. Utilize the OSI model as a guide for network troublshooting. Design an internetwork using Cisco technology.
