System Master (+ESL optional)

The System Master program is a basic to advanced level training course, it covers all the needed skills and understanding for IT administrator field. During the course the students can earn both the MCITP Server Administrator and MCITP Enterprise Administrator, also the student will learn about Linux administration and Sun Solaris Administration.
Students will be able to manage mid to large size of networking structure having Cisco Router.
Gaining Unix and Microsoft Enterprise Administrator certifications will allow the students to challenge many of the mid-high level positions in the IT technology field.

Learning Contents

ESL class will review reading, listening, speaking and writing skills including pronunciation, vocabulary building and conversational activities using grammar contextually. Student will be given a level test before starting to determin the current level.

Students are taught to identify potential hazards and implement proper safety procedures including ESD (Electro Static Discharge), precautions and procedures, safe work environment and equipment handling. While studying the networking part of A+ they will identify tools, software utilities, diagnostic procedures and use troubleshooting techniques for successfully solving a network problem. They are taught to use job related professional behavior including notation of privacy, confidentiality and respect for the customer and customers’ property which is one of the important section which CompTIA A+ exam tests the students. Last but not the least, for the CompTIA A+, the students are always given hands on training, where a computer is given to them to take it apart in a careful manner and later on to assemble it, putting it back in the same condition it was given to them.

It also covers simple to complex topics related to Configuring Desktop settings like windows Aero and multi-language support, Vista applications and configuring the Vista environment.

policy. It also emphasizes on Planning for Business continuity and backup. Using virtualization to increase productivity and Facilitate consolidation. This course also leads you on how to administer security in an Enterprise-level infrastructure.

Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure

The Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure course: covers concepts and skills related to installation, configuring and managing Windows applications like SharePoint services, Deployment Services, Terminal Services and Internet Information Services. It also emphasizes on basic Windows roles and features required to support this functionality. It covers configuring additional communication services and using virtualization in windows.

Install and configure Linux OS and install device drivers for other peripheral devices. Partition according to pre installation plan using fdisk. Configure file systems (ext2 / ext3). Configure a boot manager ( LILO / GRUB)
Install and manage packages after installing the Operating System.
Mount and unmount different file systems ( SAMBA / NFS). Configure X Windows system. Apply permissions to files and folders.Identify different Linux Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Implement IP tables/chains. Identify and configure mass storage devices and RAID.

Evaluate TCP/IP communication and its associated protocols. Evaluate rules of packet control. Utilize the OSI model as a guide for network troublshooting. Design an internetwork using Cisco technology.

Installation of Sun Solaris OS, including software packages and software patches.
Properly boot and shutdown and OS. Learn how to manage User accounts and groups.
Manage System devices and Hard disks and CD/DVD ROM.
Creating and restoring system backups. Configuring NFS, NIS, NIS+, DNS.
Configuring Jumpstart and Web Start Flash installation methods.
Introduction to Security concepts like Access control Lists and role-based access control.
