About PC TECH English School
Founded in 1998, PC TECH has been approved by the New York State Department of Education since January 2003. We renewed our School license in 2005, 2009, and 2013.
We are located in the center of Manhattan, right next to Grand Central Terminal. This is the one of the biggest reasons that our students select PC TECH among the many ESL schools in New York.
PC TECH has been authorized since 2005 under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. It has been a member of the Coalition of NYS Career Schools since 2012.

The TOEFL iBT Preparation Course is for students seeking admission to a college or university. You can enroll for a four-week or an eight-week program.

Licensed by the New York State Education Department
PC TECH is a language facility in New York City that is authorized by the New York State Education Department. Not only are all of our Instructors licensed, but our student curriculums and class size are mandated by the Education Department.
We have dedicated and caring instructors who are willing to go out of their way for our students. PC TECH is authorized to issue I-20 documents for those needing a visa. There are many unlicensed schools in New York. Please check before registering for admission.

PC TECH is conveniently located next to Grand Central Terminal and its subway station at 42nd Street and Madison Avenue, accessible from anywhere in New York City.
Grand Central Terminal is a major transportation hub for NYC. The building has immense historic value, with inexpensive tours available.
In bad weather, it is easy and convenient to enter our building directly from Grand Central by a safe underground passageway. You will never get wet or cold!
A shuttle train takes you to Times Square in less than five minutes to Times Square. You can walk to Rockefeller Center in ten minutes and the Empire State Building in about 15 minutes.
This excellent location offers students numerous opportunities to discover the excitement of Manhattan.
Your English will improve with PC TECH’s teaching methods!
We focus only improving your language skills. Students are given weekly writing assignments. Your teachers will check your essays and correct any grammar mistakes. You will be taught useful idioms and phrases to assist you in your writing and speaking skills.
Students will be given an exam every third Wednesday of the month and will receive a transcript the following week. This transcript will indicate the previous month’s grade; you will be able to track your progress easily.
Classes are taught according to a student’s skill level.
Extensive conversation and discussion are essential components to each class session. Students enjoy testing their speaking and listening ability as they talk with one another
The faculty meet regularly to discuss ways to enhance and improve their classes.
All our teachers are certified by New York State Education Department.

PCTECH offers its students frequent out-of-school activities (field trips) so that conversation and vocabulary growth can be practiced in a relaxing and informal way.
Our teachers create schedules that allow you to venture out and experience English conversation first hand. You will learn how New Yorkers use certain phrases and idioms, even slang and jokes!
In addition to outside-of-the-classroom activities, our school can provide you information about many other local events. Throughout the year, we visit both famous and not so well known museums, art galleries, parks, sports venues – even picnics in Central Park! - and much more!

Our NYS Education Department approved curriculum encourages students to improve their spoken English by using the dialogue method, which involves a lot of speaking and discussion with one another and with your instructors.
