ESL Curriculum

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be able to understand what your employer tells you, and to be able to express your thoughts and feelings easily, so that you are a comfortable participant in English societies? Our curriculum can help you on that path.
The vocabulary at PC TECH is divided into two groups: active vocabulary and passive vocabulary. Active vocabulary are the words that you use to express yourself with when you speak or write. Passive vocabulary are the words that you are able to understand when you read or listen; the ones that you do not use directly when you are speaking or writing.
We teach English reading, speaking, listening, business writing, vocabulary, grammar, and much more.
You might realize your area of active vocabulary is much smaller than your passive vocabulary, especially when you are speaking English. Our curriculum aims to broaden the area of active vocabulary in order to make it become a part of your passive vocabulary so that you can acquire the power of expression in order to be comfortable and to have more opportunities to get ahead in the English world.
All levels will have weekly spoken activities that will include:
1.Oral Presentations
- Learn English through songs
- Phone counselor training practice (this helps those who have an interest in volunteer help line work)
- Public speaking
- Role playing and simulations
- Voice chat
- Pronunciation
2.Liberal Arts
- Business administration, commerce, and management
- Peace studies
- Agent and business manager for artists, performers, and athletes
- Journalism
- Public park studies
