How do I apply, to join PC TECH?
The fastest and most reliable way to apply is by filling out an application
form online. If you are already in New York, you may also stop by the
school at any time between the hours of 10AM and 6PM Monday thru Friday
and Saturday from 11PM to 5PM, excluding major holidays.

How long does the enrollment process take?
It takes 24 to 48 hours for you to get a response from our Admissions Office about your acceptance. If you are applying for a Student Visa from abroad, as soon as you are able to provide us with all the necessary paper work, as described in our Applicants section, it takes approximately 72 hours for us to send out the necessary paper work for you to obtain an F-1 Student Visa.
What other costs will I incur besides tuition fees ?
For those who need an I-20 form, there are certain application and government fees associated with enrolling. A processing fee of $100, a mailing fee of $100 (FedEx international mail) and a SEVIS fee of $131 (A SEVIS fee is a new fee implemented by the US Government onJanuary 1st, 2008). Also, if you are changing your current status to an F-1 student status, there will be an additional INS fee of $200.
What methods of payment does PC TECH accept?
We accept: Cash, Checks, Traveler's Checks, Wire Transfers, and all
major credit cards with the VISA, Master Card and AMEX logo.
For those who need I-20 form, we accept either wire transasfer or credit
cards.
What is your refund policy?
You may cancel your enrollment at any time, in which case the following terms will apply: If you request cancellation within seven days after signing, you will be refunded all money paid to the school, with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee, as long as you have not entered into instruction.
Thereafter, in the event of cancellation, or termination, the school shall
retain the registration fee plus the cost of any textbooks or supplies
accepted, plus the following amounts for tuition as of the student’s last
date of physical attendance.
*Tuition liability is divided into number of quarters or % of attendance completed.
How do I get a student visa?
To obtain an F-1 or M-1 student visa you will need to present to the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate certain documents to demonstrate your intent to study in the United States and after completion of your studies, return to your home country. The documents you need include an I-20 obtained from PC TECH, proof of financial certification, a valid passport, and evidence of ties to your country. In addition, a personal interview with a visa officer will be required. We recommend that you make an appointment for your interview at least 60-120 days before the date you intend to begin your studies. How do I get an I-20?
When enrolling at PC TECH make sure to indicate on the application that you need an I-20. You must also supply documentation with your application showing proof of financial responsibility. You must have enough available money to pay for one session’s tuition, living expenses and miscellaneous expenses.
How do I maintain my student status?
You must be actively pursuing your education for the duration of your stay in USA with us. You must follow all the rules of the school as well as all of the US Immigration requirements.
What do I have to do to transfer to PC TECH and still keep my student status?
To transfer to PC TECH, you first have to fill out a transfer form and an I-20 application form. Once it is completed, you have to provide us with your financial statement, copies of your old I-20 forms, passport, visa and I-94 (white card issued upon your arrival, usually stapled to your passport). Once we have all of the necessary paper work, including your payment, we will issue you a new I-20 form for the duration of your studies at PCTECH.
With whom is PC TECH accredited?
Are you authorized to accept non-immigrant F-1 or M-1 students and issue I-20 Forms?
Yes, we are authorized to accept both non-immigrant F-1and M-1.

We have students from over 50 different countries and this creates a great international environment for learning, making new friends and learning different cultures.
If I am taking ESL, which level will I be placed in?
Upon your arrival to PC TECH School, we will give you an ESL placement test to determine your level. We will then place you in the particular level according to the test score results.
How many levels in ESL do you have?
There are many different teaching levels for students at PC TECH: lower beginner, mid-beginner, higher beginner, lower intermediate, mid-intermediate, higher intermediate, lower advanced, mid-advanced, and higher advanced.
