Times SquareAs PC TECH is conveniently located in at 42nd and Madison Avenue, there are numerous housing options available and with its location next to Grand Central Station there are numerous transportation services available as well.

There are several businesses and organizations in the area that offer housing and some housing is especially for international students. Residences vary from simple furnished dormitory type rooms to small apartments. Some may also share bathrooms and kitchen facilities. PC TECH is happy to help students arrange housing.

The Flushing YMCA offers 127 guest rooms for men and women, single ($50 per day) and twin occupancy ($70 per day) in the New York City borough of Queens. The YMCA is centrally located, providing maximum convenience for travel just minutes from JFK International and La Guardia Airports, a subway ride or Long Island Railroad ride to Manhattan, a short walk to nearby U.S. Tennis Open, Shea Stadium, Queens Botanical Gardens, and numerous restaurants.

Vanderbilt YMCA

Nestled on Manhattan's fashionable East Side, the Vanderbilt YMCA offers surprisingly low rates for its guest accommodations, while providing each guest with some of the finest fitness facilities New York City has to offer. Our courteous, multilingual staff can point you in the direction of the many points of interest within walking distance, including the United Nations, New York Public Library, Museum of Modern Art and Bloomingdale's. The Guest Rooms include 370 single and twin rooms, and feature TV, air conditioning, housekeeping services, use of safe-deposit boxes, 24-hour security, room service, and luggage storage. The Vanderbilt Y is a short walk to Grand Central Station, which provides the 4, 5, 6, 7 and S subway lines, and Metro-North Railroad for points outside of Manhattan.

Educational Housing Services

Educational Housing Services provides year long housing for students. Housing is safe, comfortable and affordable housing in nice neighborhoods throughout New York. Students may lease by semester or for the 9-month school year. Students can also rent summer housing. Accommodations include color television, laundry, kitchen facilities, parties, lounges and activities.

Offers students dormitory-style rooms at $200 per week. A $200 security deposit is required. Room includes color television, small refrigerator, and shared bathroom/shower per floor. No cooking is allowed.

Homestay Program

The Homestay program is an excellent option for students looking for housing in New York while attending classes. They have a select number of furnished studios and apartments in Manhattan. Students may also be placed with welcoming families in the New York area. There are also shared apartments in which students may choose to stay with a carefully selected roommate. Prices vary depending on the area of New York that students wish to live. Rents range from $900 to $3,000 per month depending on apartment size.
