TOEFL Success Program
TOEFL class in New York City at PC Tech's New York language school, the best location for TOEFL iBT preparation in NYC. Intensive iBT practice right in downtown New York.
The TOEFL Preparation Course is either a 4-week, 72-hour, or 8-week, 144-hour course that will prepare you to take the internet based test (iBT).
The iBT is different because students will have to demonstrate their ability to integrate the language skills by completing tasks similar to those that they will be expected to accomplish in academic settings. The course prepares you for this by first evaluating your strengths and weaknesses and you will master important academic skills.
The course will review reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. Throughout the course you will be constantly checking your progress by taking model tests. Finally, the course will help you improve your English proficiency by reviewing important language problems and identifying and applying strategies that will help you to overcome these problems.
7 model tests
The course consists of taking 7 model tests that come from actual TOEFL exams. The first exam allows you to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Then the second test will be taken four weeks into the course and the third test six weeks into the course. These two tests are progress tests, to see how much you have improved and the areas on which you still need to work.
The next three model tests will ensure that you feel completely comfortable taking the TOEFL iBT and the final test allows you to realize how much you have improved by taking this preparation course.
Our preparation course is intense. It is important that every student comes to class on time and prepared. Homework assignments must be done on time and, to get the full benefit from the class, students should be prepared to participate in class.
